I almost always have a “coffee cup” sketchbook with me. Each time I have an espresso… I draw the cup. The project started simply as an excuse to draw with no conceptual parameters. As the project developed I started dating and indicating city and state and/or city and country. There are some instances where the drawing may be of a cup of tea (espresso isn’t always available), & on a few occasions other artist have done a drawing of their coffee/tea in a book. Sketchbooks vary depending on what is available at the time a new sketchbook is needed, the same is true of drawing materials. There are over 200 completed sketchbooks, the project is ongoing with no preconceived end. Work has been done in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, Central America, and North America
